LUTHER EPISODE WITH MY BLURRY PAINTING IN
May 19th, 2010
So the episode of Luther that featured art works from the represent show was on yesterday.
In this one there was a guy who run a gallery in Leonard street, wanky Shoreditch sides that be and just so happens to be where my old gallery was….ggrrrr and this guy was a luny toon psycho maniac killer who showed lots of art that maniac psycho lunies would tend to enjoy looking at, ie Zach Walsh’s, Rob Samples and my not in focus but still in shot type work,
Skipping to the chorus line, he gets caught in the end and goes to jail, because this is England and you can’t go around killing people willy nilly here, you gotta join the police force or army or some kind of wild street gang to do that crazy stuff………
But my big question is, what happened to all our art works that he had in his gallery???? I new it was a mistake getting involved with his shady operations….
Twas a good episode of luther though, if anyone is bothered to have a gander check the link

HIPHOP BREAKS
May 16th, 2010
If your love of hip hop is a little more deeper than simply polluting your brain with Lil Wayne’s mind numbing bollocks and your into breaks and samples then this site I stumbled upon will be a groovy thing to witness
It’s a site that contains lots of nerdy top 10/ 50/ 100 lists of whatever, whatever. etc etc
This particular one is a top 50 list of the best hip hop samples of all time, ever, ever… a debatable list for sure, but it’s good to be able to read up on the original tracks that made much of the late 80’s and 90’s hip hop such a defining genre.
I’m a proper vinyl geek and record hunting is a past time I’ll never grow out of so discovering a obscure album that contains a break from a favorite rap tune is always going to make me chirpy chirp cheep cheep…..jeez dude, get a life ya geeky twerp
The BBC drama ‘Luther‘ has begun on the BBC, airing on tuesdays at whatever oclock.
A little while back they used some of the artworks that was in the ‘Represent’ show to film scenes for one of the episodes
The episode was about some dude who runs a art gallery which shows all kinds of demented and twisted art and such..It’s interesting that the production team chose to have our work featured in the scenes, what does it say about the artists that were in the Represent show? a bunch of fruity nut cakes it seems!!!
After watching the first two episodes I’m pretty impressed with the standard of the show, it’s not your normal stupid BBC guff that makes me want to throw my tele in the skip, it’s got a bit of chewy meat to it has this…..I shall be eagerly awaiting the following installments and hoping that they some how have got maybe a one second shot of my artwork in the gallery scenes.
ART STARS WEBSITE - ME ME ME
May 15th, 2010
So I been involved with this little project yeah, it’s for this Ralph Lauren geeza. He wanted me to do some stuff on a big star, I thought, well I ain’t really got nuttin else on at the moment, only two big shows to finish off, wot the heck, let me do it for the persistent littlegit….
So now the website is up and running and peeps can see what this art stars stuff is all about, I believe it’s a really interesting project to be involved in, all the artists that are part of this have produced lovely, interesting art, which suggests that we all looked past the corporate aspect of it being Ralph Lauren and simply saw the oppotunity to do something different and groovy.
The art stars exhibition will be happening sometime in November of this year in this here awesome city that is Londinium.
Brap, brap
BEYOND THE STREET - THE EVENT
May 15th, 2010
The other day saw the launch party of the Beyond the street book. The event took place at London’s Phillips de Pury art flogging house and was a well attended affair with a good number of dandy type artists showing up.
I got to sign a few books with my trademark child like scrawlings and also write some rude messages in a couple of copies which made me all happy and joyful inside.
I also managed to refrain from assaulting or insulting anyone there, it was my birthday so I should of been more of a prima donna, next time i’ll be a complete plonker thats for sure.
Anyways much praise and respect goes to the creators of the book, Patrick and Stuart for all their hard work and emotional toil.
